TAPESTRY V
Tapestry in Faith:
A Fourth Day Celebration

Saturday, August 13th
A Gathering of Fourth Day Communities
around the Greater DC Area

Tapestry in Faith - A Fourth Day Celebration will continue this year with Tapestry V, to be held on Saturday, August 13th.  That's right, this will be our fifth year of gathering the many and varied Fourth Day communities from around the greater Washington area together for a combined Ultreya/Gathering.
This year's events will include the pre-event Potluck/BBQ picnic at Bethel United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Smoketown and Minnieville Roads in Woodgridge/Dale City.  The picnic will run from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  We will supply the BBQ, rolls, slaw, drinks, plates, cups, ice, utensils, and napkins.  Feel free to bring your favorite dish to share.  Bethel is located less than a mile from the Hylton Memorial Chapel where Tapestry V will be held from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.  Please respect Tapestry's and Bethel's ongoing tradition of having NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON THE PREMISES!
At the event, we will once again have our De Colores vendors, a HOOT! for the 'older' kids, and free child care for the younger ones.  Music will be led by Three in One, the praise team from Woodbridge Christian Church, and, as always, the communities' musicians are invited to join them onstage.  The positions of MC, Spiritual Director, and Fourth Day Speakers have yet to be filled, but we are confident that God will bring just the right people to us again this year.  Remember, this event is open to everyone, regardless of whether they have attended a Fourth Day weekend.  So, bring your friends, neighbors, and fellow church members, and show them a little of what the Fourth Day movement is about . . . a rejuvenating, reviving fellowship to encourage us all to be the disciples God would have us be.
Please keep those of us who will be organizing Tapestry V in prayer, that our decisions will be directed by the Holy Spirit, and that this event will continue to honor and glorify God with our praise and worship through Christ, His Son.
There are poster/announcements, invitations, and a business card template available for your use as handouts/reminders about Tapestry V.  Contact Brian Lewis at bb3253@aol.com, and include in the subject line:  TAPESTRY DOWNLOADS.  You can also get directions to any of the Tapestry V locations.
In His grace,
